The Newcastle Chapter of the EES aims to provide environmental information and Continuing Professional Development for the wide range of professionals in and around the Hunter Valley that are typically involved in major industry, mining, research, technology, consulting and other services.

We are affiliated with the Newcastle Division of Engineers Australia (EA), which offers a high standard of administrative support, as well as excellent facilities and resources for meetings and seminars.

Our group sponsors and arranges several meetings/seminars/site visits directly, as well as jointly participating in various multidisciplinary functions.

We actively pursue involvement of the University of Newcastle staff and students in our activities, with a representative of each on our Chapter committee.
